Attending High Point Market created wonderful opportunities for me to get an introduction to some pretty awesome brands that I previously wasn’t all that familiar with and one of those awesome brands is CR Laine…a family owned, North Carolina based company specializing in stylish, comfortable and colorful upholstery. I was aware of CR Laine but since they don’t have a New York showroom, I’d never really had an opportunity to see their products in person and I was blown away by all of their showroom. A common question that kept popping up during High Point Market was “what collections have you seen that you’re most excited about?” For me and for just about everyone I talked to, designer Celerie Kemble’s new collections for sister companies Henredon and Maitland-Smith were the hot answer. Arguably the most buzzed about collections at High Point, Kemble’s coordinating lines of furniture for Henredon and lighting and accessories for Maitland-Smith reflect her signature mix of new traditional glamour meets Palm Beach chic and packs some serious style.
