Just wanted to drop a quick note to share that this is the last week to visit the 2015 Kips Bay Decorator Show House which officially ends this Thursday, June 11. I’ve already posted about a few of the standout spaces from Tilton Fenwick, Mark D. The Chicest Staircase in NYC

One of the most fabulous features of the Kips Bay Showhouse was the spiral staircase winding up the 5-story mansion which Toronto designer Philip Mitchell transformed into what might be the most stunning and epic gallery of art I’ve ever seen. The walls were covered in a beautiful, soft gray “Torridon” toile wallcovering from Mulberry that served as the perfect backdrop for hundreds of pieces of art, many from Philip’s own collection and others, donated works from galleries and artists that includes paintings, etchings, photography and more.
