Sorry I’ve been MIA all week. Work has been crazy busy and I’ve also been spending lots of time trying to organize my life and my home. Thursday I took a much needed day off from work and being the adventuress that I am, I decided to rent myself a minivan and drive up to Brimfield, Massachusetts to attend the Brimfield Antique Show. I had such a great time there. There were so many dealers and so much to see…the experience was beyond overwhelming. By the time I finished walking around for six hours or so I was completely …
Ok, I have to say…when a reader alerted me last night to say she saw So Haute mentioned in The Washington Post’s Blog Watch AGAIN, I swear I thought I was being Punk’d. But lo and behold I sauntered over to the Post’s website and almost had to pinch myself when I realized it was true. WOW is all I can say. I am very excited to share the news with you all. Thanks Fay for alerting me and Thanks to Terri at The Washington Post for featuring So Haute on Blog Watch two weeks in a row!! Glad everyone …
Last week I was in Miami for work and blogged about my trip here. Well, I’m back in Miami again…this time to attend a weekend long bachelorette party celebration for a good friend of mine. In this weekly feature, the Post’s Home writer Terri Sapienza highlights her top picks in the world of design blogs. I can’t tell you enough how honored I am to have my blog mentioned. I started this blog just two and a half months ago and feel incredibly fortunate to have a legitimate following of readers who are engaged in what I am writing about. So thanks to everyone who reads So Haute! …

It was my first time staying there and I have to say I was not pleased to say the least. The service was horrible and the place felt like party central 24/7. I’ve never seen such a scene. I mean, I had to walk through Nobu to get to the guest elevators! And throughout the entire hotel …
Today felt like the worst day ever. I think I’m going to just curl up on my couch and sulk tonight but tomorrow I plan to go out and buy some beautiful flowers for my apartment to cheer myself up. Something like this lovely arrangement from Opalia in Brooklyn should do the trick. This would look great on my coffee table and I can stare at them while I’m curled up on my couch sulking again tomorrow night. Sigh!…
