I think LA has some of the best flea markets around. Some of the better markets in the LA area are in farther away cities like Pasadena or Long Beach and only open on select weekends so I often miss them when I come to town. The Melrose Trading Post however, best known for its art, antiques and collectibles, is open every single Sunday rain or shine. I’m still in shock over the passing of Michael Jackson who was such a worldwide pop icon. I grew up on his music and was a true fan. When his music video world premiere prime time specials would air on television, the viewing became a family occasion.
