One of the best parts about working on the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Gala was having the opportunity to witness the creativity on display by all of the other incredibly talented designers involved. Get The Look: A Chic & Sophisticated Dining Table Inspired by My Entertaining Essentials TV Segment

For the dining tablescape I set for my entertaining essentials TV segment, I contrasted textures and materials to create an beautiful table that was accented by dim candlelight and gorgeous floral arrangements. There’s no rule that says your dinnerware has to match and here I mixed together a croc printed silver charger with a classic white with silver rim dinner plate and a glass salad plate that featured an interesting textural pattern. Daily Candy recently alerted me to the fact that actress Rachel Bilson of the OC fame has a newly launched line of tabletop wares for Macy’s called Edie Rose. The line features dinnerware and serving pieces with girly floral, peacock and butterfly motifs in soft blue hues with a slightly granny chic vibe.
