Painted in Waterlogue

I am super obsessed with my iPhone and also happen to be a bonafide app junkie! I download several new apps on a weekly basis and as an amateur iphoneographer, I especially love photo apps and have found a new favorite app obsession that I’m am so excited to tell you about. It’s called Waterlogue and in a nutshell, it takes your photos and turns them into beautiful watercolor paintings. You may have seen slews of watercolors flooding your social media feeds lately and yep – those are Waterlogues. Apparently all the cool kids are doing it.

One Kings Lane has been killing it lately with its product assortment! In addition to daily sales, Vintage & Market Finds and coveted Tastemaker Tag Sales, the company has recently expanded into producing its own private label home goods which includes a fabulous new bed and bath collection called Celandine! I am a huge bedding aficionado and can never get enough of crisp white sheets and towels with elegant, embroidered accents. The Celandine collection offers just that – tailored classics plus a few fun prints that reflect a modern twist on ethnic-inspired motifs. The line is designed to be …

Tilton Fenwick’s Suysel DePedro Cunningham and Anne Foster. Photo by Francesco Lagnese

Tilton Fenwick is one of the hottest young design firms in New York and have garnered much deserved recognition for their “new traditional” sensibility, their exuberant use of color and love for statement making patterns. It’s hard to believe that this stylish design duo, led by Suysel DePedro Cunningham and Anne Foster, launched less than four years ago. Since that time, Tilton Fenwick has been named one of Traditional Home’s top 20 New Trad designers to watch, was the recipient of IFDA’s 2011 Rising Stars of Interior Design …

1371 Madeline Weinrib

I’m a huge fan of Madeline Weinrib’s globally inspired carpet and textile collections. Her designs are simply stunning but aside from creating beautiful things, what I also love about Weinrib is that in both her business and personal life she has always embraced the idea of social responsibility. Her latest initiative is a collaboration with Project Mala, a non-profit organization that works to build schools and eliminate child labor in the carpet weaving region of India. As a recently appointed Ambassador for the charity, Weinrib designed a gorgeous, moroccan-inspired carpet and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to …

The team behind One Kings Lane just launched a brand new online resale marketplace for design lovers called Hunter’s Alley and I’m obsessed!  Hunter’s Alley features one-of-a-kind antique and vintage pieces as well as handmade and contemporary pre-owned items for the home. It’s a destination where both individuals and professionals can sell their pieces and where buyers can score some fabulous finds. And unlike sites like Craigslist, where buying and selling your things can be a pain and you have to sift through a lot of junk to find the good stuff, every item on Hunters Alley is vetted, ensuring …

So Haute 2014 decor trends

In my latest TV segment I shared 5 home decor trends that I’m totally loving for 2014 along with some of my favorite products under $100 to illustrate the trends. When working within the tight time constraints of a morning show segment, it’s pretty tough to squeeze in all of the product details so here I’m recapping  all of the  trends and products that I featured (and a few similar substitutions) so you can shop the looks. I’m especially loving all of the marbleized items. Which trend is your favorite?
