2010 was an amazing year for So Haute! From a site re-design and having my traffic increase dramatically to hosting exciting events, receiving some great press and producing my first video, last year brought many successes to celebrate! I couldn’t be more proud of what I accomplished and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities that came my way, the relationships I built both on and offline and of course for you…all of my readers who are always so amazing and supportive. So as we kick off the New Year, I thought it would be fitting to celebrate and recap some …

Karen and an assortment of products from Hammocks & High Tea

Earlier this year I attended a design industry talk and throughout the night I heard several people drop the name “Hammocks & High Tea” but I had no idea what they were talking about. Emily Henderson

Congratulations to Emily Henderson, winner of HGTV’s Design Star! If you’ve been following the series then you’re likely familiar with  Emily, the quirky-cool blonde who works as a prop stylist specializing in interior and food styling. She didn’t make much noise in the first few episodes of Design Star but quickly made it known to the judges and the world that she had what it takes to be the next Design Star. Last night she was crowned the winner and will soon be the host of her own show on HGTV! I hate to sound like a know-it-all …
