Yesterday I ate lunch at the most adorable little restaurant in Greenwich Village called Claudette. I’d seen pictures of the space earlier in the summer and have actually been meaning to write about Claudette even before I dined there because it’s just so pretty! Claudette is a Provençal restaurant located just steps from Washington Square Park and is the sister restaurant to another NYC fave, Rosemary’s. The interiors were designed by Dekar Design who wanted the space to feel like a beautiful old world country house in Provence. The interiors are bright and airy featuring hand painted tiles, salvaged materials and whitewashed finishes for an weathered and lived-in look. As for the food, everything I ate was very light, fresh and delicious. My lunch date and I shared the snap peas with radish salad along with the baby cauliflower salad and for my main I ate the chicken salad which was tossed in a very light orange vinaigrette. I loved every bite. Now I’m dying to go back for brunch! Take a look at the beautiful interiors below and mark this on your restaurants to try list!

I had heard of this place before…but had no idea it was that cute. I just messaged my husband saying he & i should go there. 🙂
Hi Jen! Yes, it’s adorable! If you and hubby make it there let me know how it was! xo
The place is great! I wonder how the food is 🙂
Looks delicious ! I got hungry 🙂
What a cozy space! I love how it looks just like a country house like they imagined. P.S. I totally want a bite of that food, haha.
