In the latest issue of Elle, fashion designer Lela Rose takes us inside her chic country retreat in the Catskills. The 3,600-square-foot modernist cabin was designed to blend in with its woodsy surroundings and comes complete with a conversation pit, “sleeping porch”, wooden Japanese soaking tub and greenhouse among other things. I especially love her secluded sun porch that features a single hanging rattan chair and stunning views all around. It looks like the perfect place to unwind with a good book and escape from it all! Below is a breakdown on how to get the look. See more of the story here or pick up a copy of Elle’s August issue.

I agree, what a great “sleeping porch”! It’s seems to peaceful and a perfect place to slip away with a great book surrounded by the peaceful views out the windows.
The rug Lele Rose has used reminds me of the Raw Eart Felt Ball Rug that brings the outdoors inside!
