“Shima” Dinnerware
How great is this Chinoiserie inspired porcelain dinnerware from Spode? The beautiful pattern was adapted from one of their 19th century designs. A 20-piece set which serves four is currently on sale for $199. The red Chinese fretwork chargers are $215 for a set of 4. Available here.
Ruffled Oval Platter & Footed Serving Bowl
This chic serving platter and bowl by Annieglass would make a great addition to the stylish entertainer’s serveware collection. These handcrafted sculptural glass serving pieces are trimmed in 24-carat gold and are absolutely beautiful. The platter is $168 and the footed serving bowl is $263. Available here.
Pewter Ice Cream Serving Set
I really love the vintage look of this Italian pewter ice cream serving set from Val Petro. This would be perfect for serving warm apple cobbler with a scoop of ice cream in the Fall. The three-piece set includes the bowl, serving plate and spoon and costs $125. Available here.
Pomegranate Salt & Pepper Shakers
American artist and product designer Michael Aram designed these beautifully detailed pomegranate shaped salt & pepper shakers which are made of gold plate and oxidized bronze. These will surely be a conversation piece at any dinner table. They’re also a great gift idea. The set is $99. Available here.

All pretty finds. The pomegranate s & p’s are especially cool.
I love those pewter bowls but they must not really be pewter, right? Doesn’t it cause insanity or some kind of poisoning or something? Ahhh, the prices we pay for beauty… 🙂

Oh, good god, I kept trying to leave this and it kept reposting my comment. Help!
love the pewter icecream serving set. something about vintage utensils that make food taste more real. the simplicity of it helps to focus you on the flavor. and it just makes so much sense to put icy cold delights in something that keeps it cool. just like the korean stone pots that keep the delicious, heart-warming stews steaming hot. btw, modern pewter should be fine – it contains no lead. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pewter
I love the pewter ice cream server set! I’m into vintage shopping and saw something just like it last weekend. Is vintage shopping still haute soHaute? Just wondering?
