I love the soothing and sophisticated colors in this bedroom. The mix of textures is also quite eye catching. The room was featured in the Nov ’07 issue of Metropolitan Home and was done by Dallas based interior designer Julio Quinones who was profiled as part of Met Home’s “Generation Next” feature on talented young designers to watch. Ever since I saw this editorial I’ve been trying to dig up more info on him as well as find more photos of his work but to no avail. And he doesn’t seem to have a website. Hopefully we’ll see more of his work soon. Amazing inspiration!

I live in Dallas and have heard great things about Julio…my friend’s boss was going to use him as her decorator but apparently he is so incredibly busy and at such a young age already has a ton of projects he is working on! Good for him!

Emily- Thanks for the inside scoop! Must be so exciting for him to have such great success at such a young age. Glad things are really taking off for him. He’s clearly very talented!
A great source for Quinones’ work is http://www.dhomeandgarden.com Just put his name in search and a whole bunch of features will be listed. Most recent is March/April 08 – I posted up some pics of this gorgeous green office he did. Michele
